My coworker at said this to me reffering to my horrendous mix up with the register today. But this fits in with all matters of life at the moment…I gave him a weird look after he said this, a look that clearly stated “……uhmm….can you read my mind?”.

Been having some weird dreams...
Last night I dreamt that my biological dad was the redheaded Mitchell from the T.V. show Modern Family. In the show he’s gay, which explains why he had “divorced” my mom.
The night before, I had my rocket-ship dream again…in this one, I’m an astronaut who has about one hour to say goodbye to everyone I know before going off into space for…well, forever. And...

“Wow, this person is beautiful.” And by golly, she was.
To every other student who saw this woman, they must’ve thought “oh just another Asian mother on campus”. Or, as most of my peers usually do, they probably looked at their feet, or turned away as to avoid eye contact with anyone passing by.
Maybe it’s because I’m stubborn, but I refuse to look down...

We'd sit on checkered blankets,
and goofy beanies would keep our ears warm. We would lay back, and look at the stars, making up our own stories - creating constellations such as “the mighty grilled cheese” or the “tap dancing moose”…
